Unreliable connection - Can't log-in to router and won't save changes

My wired PC connection has been alternating between dead slow then accelerating up and down for about 2 weeks now. I try to log in to the router to check the settings and sometimes it lets me log in, other times i can't at all. Even when i do log in any changes aren't saved and sometimes it restarts and kicks me out. Any suggestions - or do i just need a new router?

Hi moleycoley,


Line test is passing and router is in sync at 40Mbps. Are you experiencing any problems with your telephone service, is there any noise on the line?
