Hello, I seem to have major dns problems, my laptop keeps disconnecting and saying failed to connect to dns, but also one of my Samsung Smart TV has done the same, I have used public dns settings which make it better but why shouldnt I be able to set to auto and it work?

OK, can you switch the router off and leave it off for at least 30 minutes, then switch back on and check to see if it's still there (please leave the powerline adapter unplugged while you do this)

Thanks

Chris

Could you try switching the powerline extender off and check to see if the hidden network disappears (you may need to rescan)

If you read this it seems to be part of the Sagecom Router?

I don't know, it looks as though the laptop is picking it up twice, once with the SSID and again as a hidden network. You could try rebooting the router and check to see if still shows up

For some reason I am showing a hidden network, I read somewhere that the Sagecom Router does this, is there anyway of hiding it?

Hi JaceyBoy,

No problem at all, just glad to hear that you got to the bottom of this.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Right I have got to the bottom of the problem, and it is down to the Blink Cameras I have, I think they have been hacked and were causing the network chaos, I have left it unplugged (sync unit) and the wifi has been absolutley fine for the past 24 hours, so I apologise it was nothing to do with the TalkTalk router......
