Hello Community
I am struggling to get talktalk to send out an openreach engineer to investigate my Dads completely dead landline
They have sent two engineers who have check the phone, the first one replaced the front of the master socket. He left confirming that there was a line fault and we would require an openreach engineer to check the line. He would report back and we should receive a call from talktalk to re-book. This did not happen and I had to phone again, hour & half later!
We have also checked the line with two separate cabled phones, neither of these give a dial tone
The second engineer, booked between 7 - 9am, arrived at 3pm. Taklktalk then sent a message to say we would be charged as we missed the appointment
Can anyone suggest how I can get an engineer to attend, without another long winded phone call, please?

Hi Stephen
I've sent you a PM. We are unable to assist any customers who have recently migrated from Shell at this time, via Community, but we do have a dedicated Migrations Team that will assist.
Thanks
Karl.

OK, if you would like the support team to look into this for you make sure that you complete your community profile (click here) and put your Dad's full name, address and phone number in the Private notes section so that they can link your forum identity with the account and then wait for them to respond. Bear in mind that they won't be back online until Monday.
