Hi, my router keeps flashing an orange light. I have turned it off for 20 minutes, turned it back on and still no connection. I have taken the broadband cable out and put it back in, still doesn't connect. I've used a new broadband cable and still doesn't work. I've even clicked the reset pin at the back of the router and still doesn't work. Please help as this has been like this for 2 days now

I've ordered the router, it should be with you within a couple of working days. Please let us know how you get on

OK thanks. Are you experiencing any problems with your telephone service, any noise on the line?

Hi Gmustafa,

Your router appears to be connected to the internet now, does everything appear to be OK at your end?

@Gmustafa, it's worth still waiting till the morning and update again then.

Hi

Tests are all clear.  I've optimised the line.  Can you leave the router connected to the test socket overnight and see how the connection behaves.

Thanks

Karl.

Hello,

Thank you. I've run a test on the line which has detected a potential fault towards the property. Does your main socket have a test socket please? If it does then would it be possible to connect the microfilter, router and phone directly at the test socket so we can re-run the line test again please?

Thanks
