Hi,
There were internet line works done on our street and since they finished internet has been totally horrible and unreliable. Dropping all the time and I can't do my customer service job as live chats are cut off due to internet drops.

Plus you have raised my package from 28 to 35 per month. For what?! Crap internet? I don't need it faster, I need a reliable service provider.

Please resolve this ASAP or I have to look for new provider.

Thanks

Have you had a look at your bills?

Everything should be itemised so you should be able to see if perhaps your contract period and associated package discounts have ended and/or discounted period on any extra "boosts" you have.

Morning,

I'm sorry to hear this and I will take a look now. I've run a test on the line which has detected a potential fault. Can I just confirm, is the voice service affected? Is there any noise on the voice service? If the voice service is ok then please let us know and we can raise this over to Openreach to investigate the broadband stability.

Thanks

Hi @afotografy,

It would be worth going to the Service Centre to run a connection test on your line, this will indicate if there is currently a fault affecting your service. You can also access this from the ‘My Account’ site.

Also, if you have a landline phone can you check to see if that is working normally (i.e. you have a clear dial tone and no noise on the line).

If your master phone socket has a test socket then you could also try the router in there, that would then eliminate any of the phone wiring in your home as being a possible cause of the problem.

The TalkTalk staff on this community will be able to help, they will hopefully be able to respond to this post tomorrow.

If your contract has recently ended that might explain the price rise, during your contract you will be on a discounted rate, when your contract ends you will automatically move to the standard rate (unless you renew your contract).
