How do I purchase broadband if I’m under 18 years old?

I’m under 18 but I live alone and I’m financially independent, I’m just wondering if I’d be able to purchase broadband since it’s kind of a necessity at this point and I’d obviously have to buy my own. Thank you to whoever helps me! Really hoping I’m not screwed.

Hi

Current legislation prevents ISP's from selling services to under 18's, so this is a difficult one.

There could be ways round this, for example, if you rented premises and the landlord included broadband in their name etc.  Some rented accommodation may be supplied with broadband.

Thanks

Karl.
