When selecting BBC it automatically goes onto the IPlayer live TV. Furthermore, when watching TV on the IPlayer, it constatly goes into buffering. I have writen to you as I read the reply you gave to a similar query. In that case you advised to place the Tv aireal into the TV socket. This I have done and the problem persists

Connect the aerial direct to the TV and check the BBC channels to see if there is poor reception.

This will often happen if the signal to the BBC channel is poor.
